I don't get to go fishing as much as I would like to. My daughter loves going, so this year I got a groupon to go on one of the 4 hour head boats. We are going during the time right after she gets out from school for summer and before the next weekend, because she is going to Florida.

BUT tonight we are heading to Oceanview Fishing Pier (Harrisons for the locals). Looks like the best time is going to be right around 8ish, I am leaving work around 4, so stop grab some ice, bait, and a quick diner.... GOOD TO GO.

Now this brings my question, why has it been 4 hours of sitting here, and only 30 minutes of clock time?

I am a "lurker" for the most part here. I read your posts all the time (always fun to read). I use to love to go fishing with my Dad. Those are some of my best memories of my childhood. I hope you have a great time.

My father inlaw passed away 3 years ago at 90 and my wife loves to talk about all the fish she caught with her dad and had to clean befor her mom would cook them.
KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB!

My grandfather was killed in a car accident a few years ago. About 6 years ago I brought him and my father in law fishing at the same pier as a fathers day gift, I was thinking about that last night. I swear I felt his hands on the back of my neck like he used to do when he walked with me.
