1st Cocobolo Gent. II Fountain Pen

This is my first at turning Cocobolo and my second Gent. The first one cracked on assembly. Let me know what you think.

Jeff, it's tough to see in the pics (even the big ones). How did you like Cocobolo? It is one of my favorites to turn, along with Lignum Vitate, because it takes a shine so nicely on its own.

I liked the Cocobolo. It was very easy to turn. If you click on the pics, it opens it larger in a new window.

Same question as Michael. I have one that I cannot get the finish to cure.

I used Tung Oil then friction polish and ren. wax.

I can't tell much from the larger photos either (too dark for my eyes). Looks like the fit is done well.
