Our town had an Art Show this past weekend. One of the ladies that organized it showed up at my door last night with her sister. Seems they had been remodeling and found an old newspaper, The Boston Herald, Tuesday, June 18, 1939. In it was an ad for Waterman pens. They immediately thought of me (they are good customers)

The part I like is ... "priced at $3 to $250.

Lenny,

I remember using similar type of fountain pen long time ago (not in the 1930's ). The little lever was used to refill the ink. It acted like a lever-pump.

Thanks for sharing.

Hopefully this can be seen better ...
