    First Acrylic Pen

Haven't posted much here in awhile, got busy with things and haven't been doing much turning lately. So a few weeks ago I got an order in from William Wood-Write with some Acrylic blanks and some other stuff and decided to give one of the blanks a try and see how things would go, so here is the...

    Simple Streamline

Couple of weeks ago my brother in law gave me a few small pieces of wood from an apple tree, couple of the pieces were mostly sap wood which was quite white, the other pieces were darker and one had a crack the full length of the piece. So I put some thin CA in the crack as I figured it would...

This turned out really well, considering I always have issues with Box Elder when it gets too thin.

    Leftovers once again

Another surprise from a leftover PR pour. The leftover resin was poured into a pvc pipe. It wasn't long enough for a full length pen so I added a comfort grip. You just never know what lies waiting underneath an otherwise plain looking pr rod.

    Curly Bubinga I think

I think this is Bubinga. I got it out of a scrap pile. Not a very big piece, but enough.

    One for my daughter

I made this for my 12-yr old daughter after she showed interest in some fountain pens I made for her aunt. My daughter is a lefty, and writes with the pen near vertical, so I don't know how well she'll adapt to a fountain pen, so I made this as a convertible rollerball -- the spring is glued in...
