This is my first try working with aluminum. It is made from ebony, amboyna burl, and aluminum strips. I had a little trouble with gluing the aluminum to the wood/burl. I had to re-glue some of the aluminum pieces before they stayed on. I used CA glue but am wondering if there is something...

Here are my 30 pens for the week. The segmented cigar pens are made from hickory, walnut, and redheart and have about 90 pieces each. The cowboy pens are made from ironwood and saguaro. They all have a CA finish. Any thoughts are welcome.

This pen didn't last very long. The first person that saw it bought it. I have been trying to find a way to make the blanks myself but am not sure where to get paper thin circuit board. Tell me what you think of it.

I got this piece of malachite at a gem show. It has the perfect notch in it for a pen display and it seems to match the pen color pretty well. Let me know what you think of it.
