Hi John; I made about 16 of these a few years ago for Christmas gifts. Easy to do and about 6" tall with the "hat" about 3+", I just made sure the hat was longer than the bottom. A puff ball is the top knot, and hot glue to glue the fur cloth to the body. Poke a hole in the cloth for the "nose". The white ring hides the edge of the cloth. The fur cloth has a definite prefurred (pun intended) orientation. Cut the cloth so the hairs extend beyond the end of the cloth.

This was a set of Gnomes that I made to be showcased in the gallery at SWAT when their table decoration theme was Gnomes. Ultimately, we had to leave early that year due to a hurricane heading for Louisiana. Each one had his own backstory to go along with the Gnome.

The second photo were the ones I made to be placed on the banquet tables as part of our clubs contribution for table decorations.

I used faux fur from Hobby Lobby for the hair. The sign I made on my CNC and I had a family paint the Butterfly and Mushroom.
