My skew has an oval shaft that makes it hard to sharpen. I do have the one-way sharpening setup, but with the skew attachment, it gives a curve to the cutting part, and because it is oval, the platform will not work
They make tools that handle rounded edge skews. Look them up. Mayny times those type skews are sharpened by hand on sharpening stones where you are basically holding the bevel down on the stone.
