“Cedar plug” trolling lures

Just finished this order of 14 exotic wood "cedar plugs". This bring the number I've made and sold to over 700! Many skills are required to make one. Even more skills to rig them correctly.

No photo of the finished plugs, but they have CA finish to seal the wood. It is not supposed to survive water, but it does in salt water.

You attach one to a strong rod and reel. They are trolled behind a sport fishing boat. The fish attack them and are hooked. Red protector is removed before fishing.

The first photo had the hooks off to the top. New lure for me. Good luck.
