Greetings from Nebraska.
As the title says, It's About Time I got back to turning. I've had this kit laid out and the blank prepped laying on my work table for almost 10 months. The big winter storm didn't hit us much here in Nebraska, just the below zero temperatures. The last time I made a PenPal (Peter Hay) style pen was in March of last year when we really were having a winter storm here. It's an antique brass Streamline, one of Peter's favorite kits, made with a Maple burl (Often, Peter's pens were also made from burls). I finished it with GlueBoost and buffed it lightly. I still think of him often and I do my best to mimic his unique pen shapes.
