We had a couple of new babies in the church, and I made them all one of these and wrote a little note to the baby I call "Little one."

You can see in the second picture the two patterns I use to follow for the blanks and cutting.

BBs... not sure the size, but I put 20 in each end. I just charge my wax buffing wheel with pure Caranuba wax and buff it out. I don't like putting anything on there that could be dangerous to the baby.
 
This is awesome, I've been thinking about making some of these for some friends. Would you mind sharing the various dimensions?

I'll have to check out my two patterns for the demisions I use.
Here is an old video that I used for my adaptation.
