I pulled some dusty boxes out from the corners of the shop last week and found all my pen turning supplies and kits. So, I turned myself a new pen. I'm nowhere near as good as most within this forum but I enjoyed the process. The kit was an older version of an Artisan rollerball. Finish is some homebrew wax product a friend gave me. Not exactly sure what is in it.
On a side note....I broke a part (completely my fault) while assembling it and reached out to Craft Supply USA to see if it was possible to buy just that part. They answered me right away and offered to send me a replacement part at no cost. It was sent out right away and allowed me to complete the assembly and therefore save this kit. I'm impressed with their excellent customer service and will be sure to do business with them in the future.

Hi Chuck, I sure miss the Indy Pen turning chapter. Has there been any talks of starting things back up?
No talks that I'm aware of. Some passed away, some felt excluded, locations fell apart, I lost interest (mostly) and sold everything. But I still have some interest in what other members are doing. It's good to see you back.

Great looking pen! I live really close to CSUSA. Great folks over there, good products. I also really enjoy the instructional videos they post on YouTube.
