Three LeRoi Royales in cast Fordite

I've been playing around casting pieces of Fordite in Thermoset Solutions urethane resin and finally got to make something from a few of the blanks.

Here are three LeRoi Royale pens (Smitty's Pen Works, from Exotic Blanks) using two different castings. I played with tinting the DevCon Epoxy using black and white pigments (Smooth-On brand, the same ones I used in the casting).

Thanks! I jammed the chunks into the tray pretty tight before pouring the resin to bind it. In the past I've bought blanks; had a couple that were more resin than Fordite, and I wanted to avoid that.

Thanks! Me too - I particularly like the LeRoi v2 range, with it's 3/8" instead of the more normal 27/64" tube drill size.
