Vertex in mystery blank

I previously posted twice in Casual Conversation requesting help in IDing a blank. I turned it yesterday. I was hoping to turn a Zen, but the blank failed after about 2.5 inches of drilling. I had just enough good blank for a Vertex. The casted material turned very easily. I am guessing cholla cactus crosscut at the base.

While I'm not a fan of how pumpkin orange the color is, I think the rest of the blank turned out pretty cool once turned.

Think your cholla I D is correct , probably was cast in Alumilite polyurethane
