What is a good source for wood/acrylic hybrid blanks? I have been gone for the past 7 years so I am having to get caught up on a lot of things.

Any of our suppliers have a nice inventory. I buy a most of mine from a guy that makes exactly what I want.

My very favorites are the Australian Burl Hybrids that I bought from Ed and Dawn at Exotic Blanks. They only come out with a batch every so often and they get sold pretty fast. I was fortunate enough to get some the last time and they had a very nice selection of them at the 2024 MPG that I chose from. (I didn't make it to the 2025 MPG, so I don't know if they had them this year).

Perhaps Ed or Dawn can chime in and let us know when they will be releasing another batch on their website.

Much like Dave, my source for those is Exotic Blanks. I try to stock up when they sell them because they typically sell pretty quickly. I've not looked around to see if anyone else sells them. I occasionally see things advertised on social media but never follow up on them because I've no idea of who the seller is and if they can make a decent blank. The blanks from Exotic Blanks turn so well that I haven't bothered to explore anyone else.

Dave - they had them at the 2025 MPG too, glad you're feeling better, we missed you this year.
