One of my recent pens. I used jumbo stabilized buckeye burl that I got from exotic blanks. I used a 3 step Mylands/ Yorkshire grit process to finish it. Well technically 4 because I used microfine after normal Yorkshire grit. Probably one of my favorite blanks so far

One of my favorites too! Beautifully done and your choice of component and platings work perfectly with the Buckeye color.

Thanks, half the battle is matching the pen kit to the blank. I was originally going to use a diamond cast blank until I got the buckeye burl.

Is that the Blonde Jumbo Blank?
I think I've just made up my mind to go buy one...

Unfortunately, "Grading" of the blanks is subjective, but I THINK that is a regular (not blonde) stabilized Buckeye Burl.

It is certainly "Top of the line". Your choice of hardware is excellent!! NICE pen!!
