I've started pen turning as a way to work with my hands and practice craftsmanship. I'm mostly interested in wood, the v5 rt blue ink refill, and using my creativity. Happy to be here and wishing goodwill to all.

Welcome from your next door state neighbor! You are not far from the Rockler store in Moorestown , NJ and I know they have a pretty good selection of wood for turning - you might find something interesting! They also give classes.

Please feel free to reach out, I have way more pen blanks than I'll ever use. Bowl turning blanks. Also, some boards (walnut, maple, exotics...) if you are interested, to use for other crafting projects (I'll likely move away in a couple of years or so, there's no way I'll use even 50% of what I have accumulated).

I like the needle point refills, too. The Pilot is the first one I discovered but, for what it's worth, I favor the Pentel LRN over the Pilot Precise only because the tip is more durable should it get dropped.
