4-Way Burl

This is a new kit from Woodturningz. It's a 4-Way Tech Pen in satin black. 4-Way because it has blue, black, and red refills, and a 0.7mm pencil. Kind of cool. You hold it horizontal and rotate the entire pen until the ink or pencil you want is up, then depress the plunger. Push up on the clip to retract it. The wood is locust tree burl. The finish is Pens Plus.

Hi Jim,

That's a very attractive piece of burl and a very interesting pen. I don't know about the overall shape with the bottom being the largest diameter, but the workings and concept are really cool, especially with the pencil. I'm also quite amazed at the price considering the features.

Looks just like PSIs 4-in-1 multi-function kit, but they only offer it in chrome, gold and gunmetal. I really like the black! Nice work.
