Hi guys,

The next one I want to post is a Beaufort Ink Headwind kit using one of the faux abalone blanks I had poured.

The blanks were poured from 360g of Alumilite clear slow, for 5 blanks. (Might be able to get it a little lower once I become a little less messy in the process.
4 cups, 100g ACS + 1 tsp of ghost red, ghost green, and ghost blue, then 60g ACS with 2 drops of alumilite black.
random pour order, I believe it's about 4 or 5 rounds of pour.

I use 20g craft wire to swirl the resin, two turns around each pvc mold.

It looks like the second is slightly out of focus near the back. Still working on my process. (Plus some little specks of something on the surface)

Fantastic. I just received my ghost powders yesterday. Making blanks like yours is on my short list. I really like how they turned out. It is a very attractive pen. - Dave

I still have some process to work out. I used the other half of the blank on a Sierra kit, and that one has a lot more black in it than this one does. So I'm not sure if it's the thicker pen body and the black is more on the outside, or if there is just more black near the top of the blank from pouring.

Happy to share, since I've gotten several ideas for new blanks to try from this group.

Ok, I saw Dave's post about his red & white blanks and realized that I screwed up slightly on my description. It's 1/2 tsp of ghost powders, not 1 tsp each.

Is there a way to edit the post?
