This one was a lovely kit from Exotic Blanks. I'm really looking forward to a sale from them to stock up on the Diamond Knurl kits. I rather like the look of them. For this one, I was listening to advice in some of the posts and turned it between centers, with the bushings, but at the end kept double checking with a mic against the kit itself. Only a couple of areas that needed a bit of CA and there was one pretty cool looking "eye" that gave some life to the pen. Finished with friction polish.

I'm quite happy with this one and I'm thinking it will head to the office with me.

The Diamond Knurl Rollerball from Exotic Blanks has become one of my favorite kits. I especially like the antique brass finish. I stocked up pretty heavily on them when Ed and Dawn's had their sale a couple of weeks ago. You made a very attractive pen, and the "eye" is really cool. It would certainly be a keeper for me too! - Dave

Nice work and great pairing! I have a little collection of those kits in the different finishes. They are fantastic in quality and versatility.

Are you saying you left the bushings in the tubes and just put them between centers? If you are using the regular bushings, get a pair of these. The regular bushings will wear grooves in your centers very quickly.

Thanks for that link. When my bushings get worn down, I may give those a try. This is what I was using
