This one I finished a few months ago, but didn't get pics. The blank is alumilite. The resin was a bit weird, though. When drilling it came out in nice streamers, then powder, then nice streamers again. Had some of that when turning, too. The cap inside was part fo the worst for coming out powder and wouldn't hold threads, either. So, I ended up usi9ng Ca to glue a piece of resin in and then threaded that. All in all, I think it looks good.

That's a beautiful pen, I'm glad you were able to save it. I hope someone can comment on why you may have had the trouble you did. We all could benefit from that.
Unfortunately, no. I don't have the tools or space to do my own blanks. This one is from Zach Higgins. It's really a pretty blank.

The pen is beautiful. If you let the drill bit get too hot Alumilite will powder.
