I recently crossed the threshold of my 400th pen. This week I turned a piece of cocobolo. Inside the coloration was superb. Thanks for looking.

The wood is cocobolo.
Wet sanded micromesh with walnut oil.
The finish is Pens plus, in more of a satin shine than high gloss.
Assembled with blue loctite in the fittings.

Prefer the satin finish. Beautiful wood, beautiful work.
