Finished this one up this afternoon. My client owns a mortgage brokerage, and green and white are his company colors.

Beautiful finished pen, I really appreciate the finial - a short, but fun learning curve and adds a lot. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mark - I've got kind of a system down for them - this one was trickier as I had a heck of a time getting some super fine scratches out of it. I ended up carefully holding it and using my buffer. It's a miracle it didn't end up shooting across the garage.

If you are working on the final and shape may I suggest less of a cap top like that and do a more subtle curve. Again just my thoughts and if you said you settled. Never settle . keep an open mind.

I've thought about that. To my eye, the little thicker design works with the hardware as none of it is really subtle - and it allows it to show off a little more of the blank design. I've been working on some kitless designs that will probably end up a bit more of a subtle curve.

I see what you are saying and everyone has their own eye and what works. You did a nice job with a very nice blank.
