Turns very nicely- the horn can be translucent so you have to paint the inside of the blank white or off white. I use carbide tools but I cut with a fresh side - slow and easy it can heat up and get soft. In fact I heat it to straighten it. Sharp bits for drilling and go slow! Then I finish with CA.
 
Don't think we have any in the UK. But you sure got the best out of it. Great Work.

I guess you have to know somebody! My son is an avid hunter! He got the first horn I had while on a hunt near the arctic (-60F!). Then he helped me find a source for another horn that I bought. I have found a couple of sellers who sell knife scales but they were out!
