Blue Jean Pen

After my SO's father passed, I wanted to make a remembrance pen for her and family members. Asked for a pair of his blue jeans. Discovered that the regular Sierra pen doesn't have enough meat for the thickness of the material so I used the Broadside from Drop Anchor. I borrowed the button idea from JohnU.

The seam is under the clip, but respectable anyway. The ends blend together naturally. Tube painted black. CA glued.
The fabric darkened with the glue.
Managed to sand the button down and not my fingers.

Beautiful work and beautiful pen! I have some jack knives with blue Jean Micarta handles. Absolutely awesome.
