I would like to share this slimline i finished made of wild olive wood. Thats the wild relative of the olive tree that was used to make wraths for the olympics in ancient times. Its a very hard and dense wood; its used for tool handles, walking sticks etc.

The piece at the left is wild olive wood and the one at the right ordinary olive wood.

Although similar in size, wild olive wood is 10 g (~3oz) heavier than ordinary olive wood.

Nice work ! !

Thanks for showing ! !

But . . . in your weight conversion, I think you should have . .

"Although similar in size, wild olive wood is 10 g (~0.35 oz) heavier than ordinary olive wood."

A pound weight ( 16 oz ) is approx. 454 grams, so 1 oz is about 28 grams .
