Slimline Pro EDC Jatoba Acrylic

This is a Slimline Pro EDC in gold, from PSI. The lower body is jatoba, and the upper is black acrylic. The upper body was going to be jatoba, but it chipped out during turning. So I replaced it with the acrylic. I actually really like the combination of wood and acrylic. The finish on the jatoba is Pens Plus. The acrylic was polished with my usual regimen.

I like it. It's so funny I was just thinking yesterday how something like that would look. You see a lot oh hybrid blanks, but rarely half and half.

I agree this works nicely. It's a serious pen for a classy atmosphere. It's like picking the right shoes to go with a suit.

Very nice! We don't see enough two tone pens. I like the look and have made several.
