Here is where the inspiration comes from. Had a segmented blank in my penblank scrapwood box an was thingking of the pens people showed here.
Found some segmented strips so i cut the blank in 2 triangles and glued the strip in between.
Kit is from penkitsmall RZ-178 ProzX Art Deco Twist Pen Kit.
Also i contacted the woodturners supply where i got the CA from and asked him about the gray/white shades in the ca after a few weeks months.
One thing he said was that i should apply thinner layers, just covering the surface and let cure without accelerator.
So i did this one, 3 coats thin, and lost counting but 10 coats or so medium.

Sanding was done in a fraction of the time it usual took.

I am liking the new members becoming very interested in segmenting. I was waiting for new talent and new blood to this part of pen turning. Looks like time has arrived. You just dipped your toe in and now the sky and your imagination is the limit. I am sure there are designs that have not been seen before and hopefully some will emerge. Just keep notes of what you ar doing as you progress. Keep them coming. Looks good.
