This is a pen I finished up today that posed a real challenge. The segmentation on this is African Blackwood, White Styrene, Aluminum, and Buckeye. The center wood is Maple Burl that had a hint of spalted to it. The lower portion has three beech dowel rods drilled and inserted into the blank before turning. I used 2 coats of thin CA, and 10 coats of medium micro polished to 12000 grit and polished. Full size Majestic kit.
