Aside from a few practice runs, I finally made my first turning project Friday night. Since my wife was complaining that she got screwed when I bought my expensive lathe, I decided my first project should be a bottle stopper... with a bit of humor.
So now every time she is driven to drink, she can think of me and my lathe. See pic.
