I did just about every wrong thing you can do with fiberglass to create this pen. I used old resin; I way over-catalyzed it; I attached bits of glass cloth haphazardly without care to avoid bubbles; I globbed on resin unevenly; and I cured it over an open flame. The resin was bubbling and smoking as it set. I sanded the ends square and slapped the blank on an old, rusted kit with broken trim bands to create this ugly pen.
