After my last funnel, I wanted another go at a bowl. Went with a glue block for an extra margin of stupidproofing. This one ended up at 7" x 1.25", but more importantly, it can hold liquids this time. I still think I enjoy turning pens more. Much less time sanding.

Excellent bowl. Love the look of zebra wood. Have made a couple of pens with it. BTW, what finish?
Rubio monocoat for the finish after sanding to 320 and then trying out Yorkshire grit. Isopropyl to clean up after the Yorkshire grit and a single coat of the Rubio.

Very nice!

I love working with Zebrawood.

Which Rikon lathe is that and how do you like it?
It's the 150SR. We really like it this far. It's doing everything we want it to. My wife and I got into pen turning, but we wanted something that could do a decent sized bowl. I love the variable speed and the moveable on/stop switch.
