When the dust collector is filled half way up the second bag and step 3 of cleaning the shop involves a gas powered leaf blower. I've been cleaning for 4 hours and I'm still not finished.

But:
1) The customer is happy
2) I forgot to take after pictures of the project AGAIN
3) Tomorrow is Thanksgiving
4) Two packages came in the mail today (Berea and CSU)
5) It's supposed to rain Friday, Saturday and Sunday so no yard work.
6) My wife wants a pen and pencil set for her nephew who turned 21 yesterday which pretty much gives me at least 1 full, uninterrupted day in the shop to turn.

A busy week with Thanksgiving in the middle, could be worse! Sounds like a good sale if "the customer", singular, is happy.

I too have the ability to streach any wife approved job into all day in the shop; it's got to be perfect, right?

Happy Thanksgiving,
Chris

It's a remodel of her master suite - this is the closet room before:

And partially finished:

It was interesting because she had a stack of 2x4s and 2x6s in her basement that she wanted me to use for everything. They had been sitting down there for 5 or 6 years so they were all dried out and ready to go. I milled it all down (hence filling up the dust collector) and only bought plywood for the door panels.

Hopefully more than a few. She wants me to take down the fascia and crown molding in the kitchen and build some glass fronted cabinets to replace them (should be interesting since it's an old plaster ceiling and wavy as the ocean) and when her husband goes to Japan after the first of the year, I'll be remodeling the 1st floor bath. And somewhere in there, I'm going to be making a headboard for them if they ever agree on the look.
