Boy, this wood is hard to track down but worth all the effort.

Thanks to Lorbay for the wood and thanks to God for making it.

Definitely one of the most stunning woods I've ever seen & my absolute favourite!!

Finish is BLO/Chestnut friction polish/Ren. wax.

I too obtained some pieces of Cedar burl from Lorbay. It turns really nice and smells up the shop wonderfully. It is outstanding wood.
I made a pen and letter opener with it.

Beautiful wood, and nice execution. I've never seen or heard of yellow cedar. I'll sure add that to my list of woods to try out.
