My first attempt at:
A closed cap pen.
A double closed end pen.
A custom centerband.
A 2-or-more-material pen.
A metal-containing pen =)
A pen containing XCut wood.

I was inspired to make something that was non-B2B. Constructive criticism and comments welcome. Thanks for looking!

Nothing to criticize. That is one fine pen Joel. I have the mandrel to do a closed end pen but haven't tried one yet. You did a great job. Nice pics too.

The president of my university is a pen collector and I thought this might be a cool gift for him. I could probably have the university crest laser engraved on the top.

That would put it over the top... especially if you filled the laser cuts with some silver to match the hardware. Man...who wouldn't want it? A very nice job.
