I've seen some comments about types of woods and their characteristics and when I received the Lumber Liquidators catalog in the mail today (I don't know why they sent me a catalog because I don't buy flooring) I came across this wood hardness chart. Thought it might be interesting to other pen turners.
Has anyone used hardwood flooring for pen blanks? According to the catalog it comes in 3/4" thickness which would be just right for pen blanks.
