these might come in handy.... one of the things I like to make and that seem to be a big seller for me are wooden lamps.... most I make are just oil candle lights.... I set an ultra-pur oil candle on a small pedestal recessed into my turning and put a glass globe over it... these are a couple of examples...
The turnings are both Spalted Hackberry. The globes/chimney's are from local thrift stores or flea markets - where ever I can find them... they're getting increasingly hard to find at a reasonable price. The oil candles are $3 items from local hobby store or Wal-Mart.
