Really beautiful. We have what I believe is a hackberry in our yard that needs to come down. Your bowls have given me an idea for my next purchase -- a chainsaw!

I bought my lathe a few months ago, and I've just turned pens and wine stoppers, plus a couple of tool handles. I really want to try turning a small bowl.

Thanks all--I had a great time working with this wood. I made these two from the "knee" of the tree where a branch sprouted out of the main trunk, hence the wild grain pattern. I am really having a great time doing the bowls and platters.
