I don't have any pics to post, but like a lot of you, I work in my garage. I have a pretty nice set of built in cabinets about 15 or 20 feet long and keep my lathe/s saws, sander, etc. on it. Next to it I have a nice little desk where I do assembly and such. the cabinets are old varnished wood and are very dark.
I just resurfaced the work bench top with 1/2 plywood and painted it white! That made a big difference in the ambient light. When I finish and get all the tools back in place I will take some pictures. I guess it will eventually get really dirty, but for now I can see much better.
