Another vote of the Nova G3 with the Pens Plus jaws. The Nova line of jaws is pretty close to the most extensive and the quality of the chuck and jaws is spot on.

I've had both the Barracuda chucks and the G3 chucks. I love the fact that the Barracuda chuck comes with all the different jaws but I do think the tolerance and finish of the G3 is better.
Both are good chucks and I don't think you can go wrong with either...

I have both of the larger Nova Chucks (i.e.; G2 & G3...) and think they are wonderful chucks for larger turnings, but a little too expensive for pen turning as that task is a fairly light turning compared to bowls, larger spindles, etc. Soooo I would recommend the smallest Nova Chuck (the midi, i believe...) as it is smaller, lighter and completely capable enough to turn tens with Nova's Pen Turning Jaws! Not only is the smaller Nova jaws capable of turning pens, it's also quite capable of turning much larger turnings plus using ALL of Nova's other jaws which makes it by far one of the best chucks for smaller turnings!
