Hi All,

I have a gently used Jet jwl- 1236 lathe I am thinking of selling. This is the model that will turn up to 12" diameter and 36" length. It has a Reeves drive variable speed. It has the original Jet stand and is in good condition. ( I need to clean a little bit of saw dust and acrylic shavings off)

I also have the 6" and 12" and a curved bowl rest for it as well as the knock out bar and face plate.

What would you all think I should list it for?

PS: If there is anyone in VA that wants first crack at this, PM me.

Thanks,
Steve

Oh about 50 bucks and I'll pay the shipping [:I]. Not sure what they are worth, but there is one on ebay right now for 425.00 with free shipping. It is 2 years old and only includes the basic stuff that came with it new. Hope that helps some.

I had that exact lathe for about 2 years. I think it is a great starter lathe. I sold mine for 250 and that person loved it. Depends on who wants to pay for it.

I am hoping to get the new Jet- 12X20 Variable speed. I don't turn anything large anymore and would like to down size.

Thanks for the info Y'all.

I was thinking I would like to get around $400.00 for it.
Any takers before I list it on Craig's List?

Thanks,
Steve
