Doing some shop cleanup and ran across this. My dad got it a few years ago. The spoon and shaft were all carved out of one piece of wood (walnut?) and the handle slid over the wood shaft. Seems like either bone or ivory stained in the dark areas. Obviously a ladle type tool but any idea on history, age etc?
