Then you would have seen that the motor and tail stock are issues...right?
How old do you want it to be?

Just checked Ebay past sales and the 3000 went for anywhere from $500.00 to $1800.00 with local pick up. I think it mainly depends on how worn the bearings, motor, and other components are; and how much you want it!

That lathe pre dates current Nova Belt lathe, age could be anyone guess, better to ask person selling it. At one time folks could modify that lathe making it EVS. If buying the belt version less than a modified lathe.

Current running condition should determine price. I would not be willing to spend a lot of money on a belt or modified Nova 3000.

Thanks for the warnings. I did not see them. I did take a look at the lathe. Used but not abused. Everything lines up very well and it runs nice. But again, I ask the people that "KNOW" about these things.
