Evening, Archie

Try the tiny URL above. It's Delvie's Plastics. They have all the molds you could ever want. I use the MC-2 and the MC-7. The first will hold 2 pen "halves" = 1- completed pen The MC-7 should take care of at least 4- "half pens" (maybe 6) for two or three completed pens.
Then, look at http://tinyurl.com/haewy
This is MrArt.com. Same sizes as above at a cost of $2.35 (for the smaller mold) to maybe $3.50 for the 3" x 6" (larger mold).
I don't see how the flexible baking molds could be good at all for casting polyester resin, knowing their porosity - and I've never seen a size that could be very useful for pen casting. I can't imagine "walking" flexable molds full of PR and then trying to get them into a pressure-pot (for example) without spilling the whole thing. Also, to remove air-bubbles (without the use of a pressure-pot), it would be a bit hard to "slam" the flexible baking containers or a "baggie" down on the counter top to help jar trapped air bubbles to the surface of the mold.
And PLEASE! - anyone interested in casting PR pens - these molds are quite cheap - and last forever. I've been using mine for maybe 3-years and dozens of pens cast. They should last forever! To make molds out of popsicle sticks and baggies - or aluminum foil is only asking for problems and very big messes. WHY? Just get a few of the really sturdy and long-lasting molds for very few bucks and remove all those built-in problems and time-killers. You don't need added agrivation, as you make your first attempts at casting PR. Molds should never be a problem to have to deal with.
Hope the above will help you.
