Warrior Bush Apophyllum anomalum

This small bush, tree, known as a Warrior Bush or other common names broombush, current bush, mustard bush grows rough in various parts of NSW, Queensland and some other states in Australia. Maximum height is around 3 metres, heartwood is whitish, closely spaced broken, brown growth rings. There is a small modular ray in a fiddle back configuration. Used for only small furniture, turning, very limited availability.


I find it has an irresistable figure much like a grass tree, the Pressii variety only with this neat little fleck all through. Hope you like it.
