Hello !

I got almost entire root of vine tree (hope this is spelled right), and when I open it on the saw, it looked great. But I got from it only 3 blanks (destroyed one when drilling - grrrrr), so this Gentlemen, finished with CA is all I got out. Everything else is totaly cracked, spalted, breaked with holes to big for CA. But since I like it so much, I will follow the "Worthelss wood" tutorial by Curtis S. (aka Mesquiteman - thanks for writing that, again).
So, if you want to take a look .....
Any opinion welcome.

George, fine looking pen, my wife dug up a honeysuckle root and I have made a few pens out of that. I think people tend to overlook the roots.

George, that is a fine Gentleman's pen, I tried turning some large vine that grows wild around here, it gets over 2 inches or 50mm diameter, but the same thing happened to me, it all broke up or flew apart, I'm glad yours turned out so well.
