Anyone out there make any of the new Vertex pens from Penn State? They look nice and have sold out of two of the three platings they offer so I'm guessing alot of you have tried them out. I did order a couple of the chrome ones.

There were a few pics posted in a couple of the Show your Pens area. They look great, and I had posted a question about the feel of the click mechanism, as that is what always disappoints me with click kits, I love the look of the vertix, but clicks always feel cheap... I hope this one is different...

1st one
Did my first vertex this weekend. Chrome with black pearl acrylic.
The mechanism works smoothly and is quiet by comparison to the Sierra and long clicks. Because of the angular nib, a friend asked if a 'wrench' was needed to change the refill. I will try to post a pic in the SOYP area.
My first one is going to a deputy sheriff. I thought the look of the pen would fit his job and appear a little 'balistic'.
I plan to do a few more of these. Curious how they will sell.
