Vertex Click Issue

I was wondering if there was a way to upgrade the click part of a pen. I have made a handful of vertex click pens. I have broken the plastic part of the click pen and a friend has. Is there a place to buy high quality click parts? Or a budget friendly click pen with a metal clicker? I have attached photo of where its breaking.

I have used both the toothpick idea and a small diameter brad nail cut to length. Both have helped, the clicker doesn't like being pushed sideways.

I make the click part from the same material the pen is made off.
This one has been my personal pen for many years now. (Moose antler)

This would be a perfect candidate for PSI to update to the Schmidt SKM-88.

I insert a piece of round toothpick in the end and that solved all problems. It also works on Sierra click pens.
