I have had my shopsmith for a few years and as such have collected quite a few accessories such as drill chucks, sanding disks, etc. I moved to a dedicated lathe recently and of course none of my accessories designed for the 5/8 shaft will not work on my new (to me) lathe. I was on the Beall site recently and found the MT2 adapter to 5/8 shaft that they had. For $9.25 I ordered it and it is just what I was looking for! It allows me to use my shopsmith accessories! It does come with a 1/4 threaded hole in it so I can make an all thread lock to keep it in place. Just what I was looking for!
