These were cast using Charlie's Resin Saver Molds. They work as advertised and I will get good use from them. Thanks Charlie!!!

These are just more braided copper cigars and sierras. I am sure many have seen these type castings before. Just wanted to point out I am able to cast this material using those molds. I am a happy camper. :biggrin:Thanks for looking.

I have always liked that blank. I think the copper looks nice on the copper kits too. Excellent job!

The braided copper pens are very nice. Excellent job on casting. When casting do you use a pressure pot to eliminate the bubbles? Darrell Eisner


That is the great part and why I am excited about the use of these molds. No pressure pot needed. There is less resin around the tube to have bubbles in.

John T, Where do you find the copper braid??


I posted this once before when I first shown these. It was an ebay purchase which comes from China. I would have to look again for the link if interested. Sorry I don't have it off hand.
