I was working on a laser blank from Constant when I had an idea. The horse blank is limited to a black horse. I was wondering if it is possible to take casting resins and mix them with different colors and use that to fill in the laser cutout with it. The trick would be to use it like paint so that one could match the colors of a particular horse. Paint horses come to mind but dapples and buckskins could also be interesting.
I would want the color to go the full depth so that as the blank is turned down the colors remain true.
I am concerned about bubbles and open time for working in the differ colors.
So to all have have worked with casting (I have not),is something like this possible?
